Two other places I took my car to said I needed Brake Pads ! I went to Auto Zone to get some prices on oil and coolant and a lady names Christine suggested I go to Brake Masters and have my brakes checked out and ask for Ray. I went there and Ray checked out the car thoroughly and told me I do not need brakes or brake pads but I did need a belt and change coolant. I am so impressed with Brake Masters and will go there for oil changes and other work from now on. So "great" to find an honest place to take my car !!!!!! I'm so happy I went to Brake Masters in Camarillo !!!!!!!!

If you’re looking for honest, fast, professional service, I definitely recommend BrakeMasters Camarillo!
I just used them for the first time to have my brake pads replaced; as a single woman going to an auto repair shop, I mentally prepare myself (IYKYK), and I was VERY pleased to be treated with politeness, no upselling, extremely reasonable prices and being shown the work that was going to be done.
I showed up at 8am on a Saturday, Ray the manager said he’d be done by 10:00…and they were finished by 9:30am. Since I stayed on-site, that made me extremely happy. 😁
And I *really* appreciate that they’re open on Saturday. Working full-time M-F, I do not want to take time off for auto repairs, especially since I needed to wait to have the work done.
Last but not least, I didn’t realize that BrakeMasters does, like, 90% of the standard car care services (fluid changes, shock work, etc)! So I’ll absolutely be coming back for that. 👍🏽👍🏽🏆

I brought my car in without an appointment because my brakes were shaking pretty violently and they were able to take me in right away and get it fixed within a couple of hours. Ray helped me out mainly and he was super friendly and helpful. I felt really well taken care of and I’d definitely trust this place to work on my car again. 100% recommended!

Best service on my Ford Explorer 2023! Great Staff and friendly too. Affordable prices make me come back for all my services needed on my SUV. My father now takes his SUV here all the way from Simi valley ;)
I don't have to wait long either, plus there's a coffee shop within walking distant from the shop.

Wonderful personnel. Quick expert replacement. Faster than estimates for getting to it as well as being done.
Owner Steve Pelt is very helpful and knowledgeable. Staff is terrific. If I had a second car needing brake work, I would come here first!
