I love Kim and Cristy at Sports Clips in Camarillo.
As a woman with super short hair it can br hard to find someone who knows how to cut it correctly... short like a guy but leaving feminine aspects.i also am not one to spend $100 on a haircut. So the fact Sports Clips is cheap is wonderful (let's me tip them more).
Kim and Cristy do a great job and have been my go-to ladies for the past 3 years.

I had a whole day to process this and this happened on 12/10/25 in the evening. The last time I went was in November or October of 2025, where I had a different stylist. I usually do walk-ins and this time the stylist wasn't there at all so I should've left but I gave it a chance because I wanted to get a haircut. The stylist I got was with white hair and tattoos on her forearms, she didn't even read the notes that are updated from each time I go. I was always use to the stylist reading my notes and she didn't even read them so I had to explain to her and ended up getting a cut I didn't want at all. I wanted to have the top even out or at least half an inch cut from the top. Instead I got more than that chopped off my head.
That's not only the worse part, I was asked about the products I use because I have hair loss and recommended to buy one of the products that the store is advertising. I was saying "No I'm good and I'm okay with losing my hair".
Now I know that the answer of no for this stylist is not okay. I was told that I should "Go to Turkey where other people are going to get a hair transplant". I was in disbelief because that's not something to nice to say especially after getting my haircut wrong. Adding onto after I paid, I wanted to text or email my receipt, instead she hit no. I already had enough and walked out, so I don't know her name but she has to pay attention more on clients haircuts than trying to advertise products.
I usually shrug it off with leaving with a cut that is okay, but this time getting told to go to another country to get a hair transplant all I because I didn't buy the products being advertised.
I'll still go get a haircut just not with that stylist. Next time I don't see a stylist I usually get I'm heading out the door to go in the next day to get a haircut.

Giving this place one star because of the customer service. I checked in online for a haircut appointment for my son. When we arrived I was checking in on the front screen. Then a lady came up to us and asked if he has he been here before I said yes he has. As I continued to check in person she again says enter his name. I said yes I’m entering his name. She said “ok well because online you did your name!” I then said yes because it’s my sports clip account. But I’m entering his name now, she kept yapping talking about yeah well you need his name. I was already doing that! She honestly looked like she was having a bad day or maybe she just has a bad attitude or didn’t feel like working but she chose the wrong one you give me attitude ima give it back. I was so irritated and annoyed at how the energy was right off the bat walking in. Then with her extra unnecessary comments. She could have politely offered to help. Or just kept her mouth shut. I don’t know her name but she had curly burgundy hair. I ended up just telling my son let’s go somewhere else and walked out. I was not going to stay there and have my son’s hair cut by her when she was rude as hell.

We will never be going back to Sports clip again. The inconsistency of their hair cut is shocking. I ask them to take notes so that my son’s haircut can be consistent. They say they do, but the last visit which was on 8/18/25 showed the notes were from 2023. It’s always a hit or miss. Even after showing a picture of his previous hair cut they somehow manage to cut shorter than requested. From the numerous times we have gone, I would say he has only come out satisfied maybe 3 times at most. The hairstylist definitely need more training.

Haircut was great. TV sports were off throughout the store and the air conditioning too. Both had been out of service several days and weren't scheduled to be fixed for several more days
